Stonewall Inn memorial for Orlando shooting victims draws hundreds of New Yorkers: See photos

Hundreds of New Yorkers crowded the street outside the historic Stonewall Inn to show their love and support for the victims of Sunday’s shooting at an Orlando, Florida, gay nightclub.

Authorities said 49 people were killed and 53 others were wounded in the attack early Sunday morning at Pulse in Orlando. The gunman took club goers hostage for three hours before he was killed by police, officials said.

New Yorkers gathered outside of the Stonewall Inn, where they prayed, sang “We Shall Overcome” and observed a moment of silence.
