A Queens teen has been arrested, accused of pistol-whipping an 18-year-old man in an Inwood parking lot Saturday night, police said.

Tremaine Woods, 17, of 146 Beach 59th Street, in the Averne section of Queens, struck the unnamed victim in the face with the butt of a handgun about 10 p.m. Saturday night, police said. The victim was walking across the Town of Hempstead parking lot on Lord Lane in Inwood, when Woods approached him with another man, police said.

The victim, who received facial injuries, was taken to a hospital to bed treated, police said.

Minutes later, police said, at 10:06 p.m. two males -- ages 17 and 19 -- were walking in the same parking lot when they were each shot by "unknown persons," in their calves, police said. Both victims were taken to hospitals, where they were treated and released.

A police spokesman said detectives are investigating whether the incidents are related.

Woods is being charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree possession of a dangerous weapon. He's expected to be arraigned Monday in First District Court in Hempstead.
