Vice President Joe Biden is expected to be among the mourners at the wake for former Gov. Mario Cuomo Monday in Manhattan.

The viewing will be held between 1 and 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home on Madison Avenue and East 81st Street in Manhattan, according to the office of Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo, the late three-term governor's son.

It will be closed to the news media and the public.

Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, will travel to New York Monday to attend the wake, a Biden aide said Sunday. Biden will represent the White House.

There will be a funeral Tuesday at St. Ignatius Loyola Church on Park Avenue at 11 a.m. that will be open to family and friends.

Mario Cuomo, who led the state from 1983 to 1994, died at home Thursday from heart failure at 82 while surrounded by family. The death occurred on the same day Andrew Cuomo was sworn into office for his second term as governor.
