What do you think of the city's settlement of the FDNY lawsuit?
Mayor Bill de Blasio's administration settled a civil-rights lawsuit dating back to 2007 that accused the Fire Department of discriminating in its hiring practices. The deal includes $98 million in back pay to black and Hispanic applicants who took civil service exams in 1999 and 2002 and also requires the department to make changes to its recruiting policies.
