Plumbers, the Mac camp needs your help

The McCain camp on Tuesday found a cost-efficient way to win over middle American voters, imploring other "Joe the Plumbers" to help out with its ad campaign.

None of the Politirazzi quite fit the bill, but if you do, here's an excerpt for the McCain-Palin e-mail:

By now, "Joe the Plumber" is a household name and has become a symbol of Barack Obama's plan to "spread the wealth around." ... That's why we want to hear from you and share your story with the American public. It's simple ... make an ad telling us why you are "Joe the Plumber" in 30 seconds and we'll put the best ad on the air as a TV ad.

This is kind of the way reality television auditions work, no?
