May 9, 1984, at Shea: Ron Darling got the win and Darryl
Strawberry scored twice during a 3-1 victory over the Braves. During the game two SportsChannel cameramen were ejected by umpire Joe West for showing the replay of a close call to Mets in the dugout.
May 9, 1980, at Yankee Stadium: Ron Guidry outdueled former Met Jerry Koosman in a 5-2 win over the Twins, shutting them out for 8 2/3 innings. Bob Watson drove in all five runs, three on a homer in the first inning.
