New York's rich hoops history won't be limited to Madison Square Garden and Barclays Center during the NBA All-Star 2015 festivities.

While the game and skills competitions are being housed in the homes of the Knicks and Nets, all five boroughs will star in the inaugural History of New York City Basketball map, an interactive guide tracking the standout players and places the city has produced during the past century.

The map features more than 500 New York legends, 150 player videos, More than 140 photos and 100 New York landmarks and schools.

The map is available at NBA.com and via the NBA All-Star NYC and NBA Game Time apps. Additionally, 5,000 copies are slated to be handed out to community organizations and schools.
