The average asking price on the resale market for Sunday's NBA All-Star Game at Madison Square Garden was $1,748.83 as of early Monday afternoon, according to TiqIQ.com, which monitors secondary ticket market sites.

That figure is 77 percent higher than last year's All-Star Game in New Orleans.

The lowest asking price as of Monday was $798, by far the highest "get-in" price in recent years.

Average prices for All-Star Games have varied widely in recent years, with a high of $2,620.48 in Houston in 2013.

TiqIQ said the average asking price for All-Star Saturday Night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn was $2,125.16, more than double last year's price. The low asking price as of Monday was $450.
