Phil Jackson introduced as Knicks president
Calling New York "the best place to play basketball," Phil Jackson stood on stage at Madison Square Garden as the new president of basketball operations for the Knicks.
Jackson was joined by owner James Doland and Steve Mills, who will remain as the team's general manager.
Jackson said he had “no doubt” that Carmelo Anthony could be the centerpiece of the franchise going forward as the All-Star forward prepares to become a free agent this summer.
