The Rangers advance to play the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Henrik Lundqvist had 26 saves for the Rangers, who improved to 7-5 all-time in Game 7s.
Carcillo, who was a scratch for Game 6, scored at 3:06 of the second period off assists from Mats Zuccarello and Kevin Klein. Pouliot scored at 11:46 of the second period off assists from Derick Brassard and Anton Stralman.
Jason Akeson scored at 4:32 of the third period off assists from Brayden Coburn and Matt Read.
