    'Gossip Girl' recycles

    I haven't been writing a whole lot about "Gossip Girl" this season, because it's been so mediocre so far. But last night's was pretty season one-level OMG Scandalous!

    I really thought this scene was interesting, specifically the soundtrack (though the dramatic revelations around the dinner table were pretty tawdry/fun, too).

    Why is this interesting? Because the unremixed version of Imogen Heap's "Whatcha Say" was used at a pivital moment in the season two finale of Josh Schwartz's other show, "The OC."

    Drama! It's possible that this was not an intentional callback, but both shows share a music supervisor, Alex Patsavas (quick quiz: name another music supervisor), so there was probably some thought put into that choice.
