Selected first overall by the Orlando Magic in the 2004 NBA draft at just 18, Dwight Howard left Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy after his senior season. While still in the eighth grade, he wrote down his goals on a piece of paper and tacked it up in his room. He wanted to lead his high school to a state title and become a No. 1 draft choice.
