Cruise line info
Travelers can log onto the cruise
line's Web site to get a variety of information, from itineraries to the
amenities on each ship. All toll-free numbers are for reservations.
Another important Web site to check is the U.S. Centers for Disease
Control. On www.cdc.gov, click on "Traveler's Health" on the left and look for
the "green sheet" under the "Cruise Ships and Air Travel" section. You will
find ships' sanitation rating, which takes into account water sanitation, food
preparation and general cleanliness. A score of 85 or below is considered
unsatisfactory.
