ABC's 'Cougar Town' moving to TBS
Fans of "Cougar Town," rejoice: The long-troubled ABC show has a guardian angel, and its name is TBS.
The basic-cable network announced Thursday that the wine-soaked Courteney Cox-helmed show is officially moving to the TBS lineup for its fourth season, starting early next year.
The network also scored the encore rights to the comedy's first three seasons (61 episodes in total) that originally aired on ABC.
"We are thrilled to have 'Cougar Town' moving to the TBS neighborhood as the network continues to expand its slate of original comedy series," said Michael Wright, president, the network's head of programming, said in a statement.
