Amanda Bynes goes on Twitter rant, says she's suing NYPD over her arrest
Amanda Bynes' wild Memorial Day weekend raged on Monday, as the starlet went on a bizarre Twitter rant saying she will file a handful of lawsuits and turn to a career of rapping.
In two tirades, Bynes, 27, made clear she thought the NYPD was in the wrong when they arrested her Thursday for allegedly smoking pot in her 47th Street-apartment building's lobby and throwing a foot-long bong out of the window.
"I'm suing NYPD for illegally entering my apartment, lying about drugs on me and lying about me tampering with non existent drug paraphernalia," she tweeted, adding that police "sexually harass" her during the arrest.
She added: "I'm getting in shape and getting a nose job! I'm looking forward to a long and wonderful career as a singer/rapper!"
The NYPD said its has "found no evidence to corroborate Ms. Bynes' allegations," and that a "credible civilian witness" said that none of the arresting officers "engaged in misconduct at any time."
The former Nickelodeon star grabbed headlines all weekend, allegedly tweeting hateful remarks at Rihanna and appearing in court Friday in a mangy blonde wig.
