Americans say Bush is the cause for recession: Poll

A new Gallup poll released Thursday shows 68% of Americans blame the Bush administration for U.S. economic woes.
"This suggests that Obama's argument that he is on the right track and needs more time to turn the economy around could fall on receptive ears, particularly those of independents," Gallup said in a statement.
Here are some of the other pertinent numbers:
52% of Americans say Obama deserved a "moderate amount" or a "great deal" of blame for the economic woes.
51% of GOPers said Obama deserved more of the blame.
Unsurprisingly, 90% of Democrats said Bush was more responsible.
67% of independents blamed Bush more.
