Barbie 'President' line designed by Chris Benz

Barbie got quite the fashion boost from CFDA-winning designer Chris Benz, who designed the iconic doll's official campaign outfit as part of Mattel's inspirational "Barbie I Can Be ... President" line. We swung by the announcement on Thursday, held at the Campbell Apartment, where the pink-haired designer revealed the finished product to the press: A presidential candidate Barbie dressed in a tailored pencil skirt suit and sporting a "B Party" campaign button. Also, Barbie's pink wedges now stabilize her, allowing her to stand on her own for the first time. The doll hits stores in June and retails for $13.99.
