Beyonce to go on four-month world tour -- with Brooklyn finale
First the Super Bowl, now the world.
A day after rocking the halftime show during football's biggest game of the year, Beyoncé announced that she's heading out on a world tour that will have its big finale at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Aug. 3.
Dubbed The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour (after hubby Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter), the tour kicks off in Belgrade on April 15 before snaking its way through Europe and the U.S. The 31-year-old is only playing one show in Brooklyn, but will also make stops in nearby Atlantic City on July 26 and at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut on Aug. 2.
Though she hasn't confirmed it, we'd place bets that Jay-Z will make a guest appearance at the Barclays Center, the home of the Brooklyn Nets, who are partly owned by her husband. Tour tickets go on sale Feb. 11.
Deets on the bodysuit
For her big performance during halftime at the Super Bowl, the singer rocked some seriously sexy pieces created by NYC designer Rubin Singer.
Bey rocked a black leather-and-lace bodysuit "reminiscent of warrior armor," according to the designer, which at the start of the set was covered up by a black leather motorcycle jacket and micro-mini wrap skirt.
