'Boardwalk' actress Paz de la Huerta charged with assault

"Boardwalk Empire" actress Paz de la Huerta was charged Tuesday for allegedly punching an MTV reality star bloody at the Standard Hotel last month, the Manhattan District Attorney's office said.
De la Huerta, 26, was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon after she allegedly smashed Samantha Swetra, 26, of "The Hills" in the face and threw a glass at her.
De la Huerta is due back in court May 19. Her attorney, Jamel Oeser-Sweat, didn't return calls for comment.
