  • Brooklyn bus the city's new champ for riders

    The city has a new busiest bus line—the B46 in Brooklyn, according to updated MTA ridership figures.

    Nearly 17 million straphangers rode the bus spanning the borough in 2009, surpassing the previous long-standing champion, the M15 along First and Second avenues. Another Brooklyn bus, the B6, also rose in the rankings to number three.
