Chad Johnson's wife, Evelyn Lozada, files for divorce: Reports
Chad Johnson's wife of six weeks filed for divorce Tuesday, just days after the ex-Miami Dolphin was arrested for allegedly head-butting his wife during an argument, according to published reports.
Evelyn Lozada, 36, filed the papers in Florida Tuesday saying the marriage is "irretrievably broken," according to TMZ.com, which added that the couple had prenup.
Lozada and Johnson, 34, were married July 4 in a ceremony that was set to air on their VH1 reality show, "Ev and Ocho," which was scheduled to debut in September. The network pulled the show after Johnson was arrested Saturday for the domestic violence charge, which reportedly started after Lozada found a receipt for a box on condoms in Johnson's car. The Dolphins terminated his contract shortly after he was released from jail.
