Don’t get bogged down this holiday season. Instead, head over to Rockefeller Center and check out Ocean Spray’s cranberry bog display, complete with 2,000 pounds of fresh, floating cranberries. Tuesday and Wednesday, watch cranberry harvest demos, sample products and meet cranberry growers. Maria Menounos will also be there and will offer up — from inside the bog — cranberry-inspired holiday recipes as well as tips on staying fit during a season of indulging those gluttonous urges.

By now you know how we feel about FREE food around these parts. So Tuesday, leave the wallet (at home) and take the cannoli at Villabate-Alba Pasticceria in Bensonhurst, which will be dishing out FREE homemade cannoli between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., stuffed with finger-lickingly delicious fresh ricotta imported from Sicily. Hang on, we have to wipe up our drool.

Raising the Curtain: Stars of stage and screen salute Philip Roth
In its latest installment, the TIPA Project honors American novelist Philip Roth’s 80th birthday with readings of his memorable works by the likes of Alec Baldwin, John Rothman, Jerry Stiller and Frances Sternhagen. The all-star cast of actors will read the opening passages of “The Plot Against America,” “Patrimony,” “American Pastoral” and “Portnoy’s Complaint” Tuesday afternoon at Temple Emanu-El.

Harvey Stein’s ‘Harlem Street Portraits’
New York street photographer Harvey Stein documented the goings-on of Harlem from 1990 to 2012. Now, the iconic photog has published his close-up portraits in “Harlem Street Portraits,” which he will be signing this Wednesday at a wine reception at Rizzoli Bookstore on the Upper West Side. Stop by to partake in the festivities.
