Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Council Speaker Christine Quinn commenced the first meeting Wednesday of a coalition that aims to improve on the city's building rules following Superstorm Sandy.
The Building Resiliency Task Force is made up of 100 representatives from construction and real estate companies and members of the nonprofit environmental group the Urban Green Council.
