Clint Eastwood opens up about his empty chair monologue
Clint Eastwood is sticking to his empty chair.
The 82-year-old Hollywood icon said he had no regrets Tuesday about his bizarre speech during the Republican National Convention.
Eastwood, whose movie "The Trouble with the Curve" opens Friday, told "Extra": "If somebody's dumb enough to ask me to go to a political convention and say something, they're going have to take what they get."
On "Ellen," Eastwood said he was "trying to have some fun ... the Democrats who were watching thought I was going senile, and the Republicans knew I was."
