Cops link gun that killed two Brooklyn store owners
Cops believe the gun used to murder a Brooklyn store owner last week may have also been used in another nearby killing last month, according to reports.
The NYPD linked the pistol that killed Isaac Kadare on Thursday in Bensonhurst to the one that gunned down Mohamed Gebeli a couple of miles away on July 6, according to the Daily News.
Kadare, 59, owned a 99 Cent store and Gebeli, 65, ran a clothing store.
"In both cases the bodies were found in the aisles of the store and covered in certain ways," NYPD spokesman Paul Browne told the Daily News. He did not respond to an email Sunday.
A $12,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can help cops find the unidentified gunman involved in each murder.
