David Beckham strips for his new bodywear line for H&M
David Beckham has already flaunted his ripped body in underwear ads for Emporio Armani, and now the soccer stud is taking things one step further, launching his own "bodywear" line for H&M next month.
The collection, modeled by none other than Becks himself, features four underpant styles (briefs, trunks, boxer briefs and woven boxers), three shirts (David's "perfect" T-shirt, vest and henley), as well as long johns and pajama bottoms. The collection ranges from $12.95 to $29.95.
"Collectively, with my design team, we spent time working on the feel, fit and style to ensure the product is not only something I would wear, but one which I would be proud to put my name to," Beckham, 36, said.
The garments are inspired by pieces in Beckham's own wardrobe as well as his personal style. Comfort was the second key consideration - the cotton pieces feature the most comfortable waistbands H&M could create as well as non-scratchy labels. The line hits H&M stores on Feb. 2.
