    Dharun Ravi, the Rutgers University student who was convicted of a bias crime after spyingwith his web cam on his roommate who later committed suicide, was released from Middlesex County jail Tuesday morning after serving 20 days of his 30 day sentence.

    Ravi, 20, who eluded a maximum 10-year sentence and reported to jail voluntarily May 31 while his lawyer appealed his sentence, was given 10 days off his term for good behavior and working while in jail.

    Ravi - who wore a beard and glassed while exiting prison - still faces three years of probation, as well as orders to pay fines and perform community service for them spying on Tyler Clementi, w18, while having a romantic encounter with another man. Clementi jumped off the George Washington Bridge days after the incident.
