Dr. Dre on Tupac hologram: It's coming back
And you thought the hologram craze was over after Will.i.am's shenanigans on CNN during the 2008 presidential election.
Last weekend, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg rocked Coachella - joined by an eerily lifelike hologram of the late rapper Tupac - and Dre told TMZ.com he'd be down to see more dearly departed luminaries ressurected via technology.
The hip-hop legend was at Boa steakhouse in Hollywood Wednesaday when he told the site that he's so fired up about the Tupac show - which was met with raves from festival-goers - that he's planning to break out the hologram again on Sunday at his next Coachella show. And, not surprisingly, he's even thinking about taking the Pac-ogram on tour.
Dre also told TMZ that he's hopeful the spectacle will inspire other artists to resurrect musicians like Jimi Hendrix and Marvin Gaye.
