Former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Khan's next court date was again postponed, from next Monday to Aug. 23, a move his lawyers say means the sex-assault charges levied against him will be dismissed.

"The hearing has been postponed to allow [the DA's office] to complete their investigation," Strauss-Kahn attorney Benjamin Brafman told Fox News. "Our hope and expectation is that once they do so, they will dismiss all charges."

The Manhattan DA's office would only say that the investigation into claims that Strauss-Kahn sexually assaulted hotel maid Nafissatou Diallo at midtown's Sofitel hotel in May remained ongoing.
