    give thanks

Thanksgiving is all about family, friends and good food. If you're forgoing a home-cooked meal next week, why not make a resy at one of these spots offering traditional and not-so-traditional fare.

    Spice Market

Jean-Georges Vongerichten's Spice Market is serving up a Southeast Asian-inspired take on Thanksgiving staples. The $34 prix-fixe menu includes dishes like roasted baby sweet potatoes with gula jawa glaze; crispy Brussels sprouts with lemongrass, honey and mint; and gingered cranberry sauce alongside roasted turkey breast or confit turkey leg. 403 W. 13th St., 212-675-2322

    Lyon

Lyon is the place for groups - big or small - come Turkey Day. Parties of eight or more can dole out $200 per table for a whole turkey plus trimmings (stuffing, sweet potato puree, cranberry chutney) and a bottle of sparkling wine. Couples can order turkey and trimmings plus a bottle of Beaujolais Nouveau for $70. Reservations for the whole turkey must be made a week in advance. 118 Greenwich Ave., 212-242-5966

    Park Avenue Tavern

The Thanksgiving menu may be traditional at Park Avenue Tavern, but it's the self-serve beer taps located in the downstairs Barrel Room that will make the holiday seriously festive. Guests who make reservations early can request seating in the Barrel Room and pair their $35 prix-fixe meal with a selection of self-poured seasonal winter beers from the comfort of their own banquette. Beers include Mother's Milk by Keegan Ales, Left Hand Stout and Brooklyn Winter Ale. 99 Park Ave., 212-867-4484

    Marble Lane

Since opening in July, the Dream Downtown's Marble Lane has garnered attention for its celeb following and steakhouse fare. On Thanksgiving, the chic spot is offering pepper-crusted filet and carne asada, as well as traditional dishes with a twist, as part of its $65 fixed menu. 355 W. 16th St., 212-229-2336

    Havana Central

Turkey not really your thing? Head to Havana Central, which is hosting a Latin feast centered around a whole roasted suckling pig. For $39 per person, indulge in the main course as well as a side dish, glass of sangria and pumpkin flan. 151 W. 46th St., 212-398-7440; 2911 Broadway, 212-662-8830

    Saxon + Parole

East Village newbie Saxon + Parole sources locally whenever it can, including on Thanksgiving, when it'll serve a $75 prix-fixe menu whose highlights include whole stuffed branzino with smoked paprika crust, carrot and ginger soup with chili marshmallow, and slow-roasted turkey. 316 Bowery, 212-254-0350
