Former Giants running back Brandon Jacobs was part of a high-speed caravan down the Garden State Parkway last month - with state troopers acting as his offensive line, the Newark Star-Ledger reported Monday.

Citing complaints from other motorists, the report said about 25 luxury cars were escorted by two police cars at the front and back with emergency lights flashing.

Witnesses said that the caravan was speeding more than 100 mph, with black tape covering their license plates, according to the report. The caravan, called "Death Race 2012" by one complainant, reportedly occured on March 30, two days after Jacobs signed with the SanFrancisco 49ers.

"The only comment we'll make is that Brandon was part of a group that drove to Atlantic City on the date being reported," Jacobs' agent, Justin Schulman, told amNewYork.

The New Jersey State Police are investigating the incident.
