Facebook fight over $20 ends in stabbing death
A fight on Facebook over $20 may have led to the brutal stabbing of a Brooklyn woman.
Kayla Henriques, 18, is accused of killing her brother’s girlfriend, 22-year-old Kamisha Richards, after their vulgar exchange on the social networking site erupted in violence.
Richards’ acquaintances told the Daily News that she loaned Henriques $20 for diapers and milk and became angry when she found out the money was spent it on other things.
“My daughter’s dead!” Richards’ hysterical dad screamed at the crime scene, according to The Daily News.
Henriques, 18, was charged Tuesday with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Henriques, the mother an 11-month-old boy, allegedly confessed to stabbing Richards in the chest around 10:30 p.m. near their homes in East New York’s Cypress Hills housing complex, The Daily News reported, citing police sources.
A relative of the suspect told the Daily News that she acted in self-defense after Richards allegedly came at her with scissors.
