Fantasy Football: Players to buy, sell
After six weeks, some teams in your league may be cruising while others are desperate to make a move in an attempt to save their season. However, there is still a long way to go and a well-timed move now can still help you gear up for a title run.
With that in mind, let's analyze some good candidates to buy low and sell high as you negotiate trades with other league members in an attempt to improve your team.
Robert Griffin III (QB, Redskins)
He has looked healthier every week and has a very friendly schedule over the next five weeks.
Ray Rice (RB, Ravens)
The Ravens will need to give Rice more carries if they want to stay competitive, and Rice still has the talent to produce if given the opportunity.
Hakeem Nicks (WR, Giants)
The Giants season has gone so poorly that they have nowhere to go but up, and Nicks is still getting plenty of targets despite the lack of recent TDs.
Tom Brady (QB, Patriots), Eli Manning (QB, Giants), Terrelle Pryor (QB, Raiders), CJ Spiller (RB, Bills), Eddie Lacy (RB, Packers), Pierre Garcon (WR, Redskins), Keenan Allen (WR, Chargers), Jermichael Finley (TE, Packers).
Matt Ryan (QB, Falcons)
Still a top 12 QB, but the Falcons are running low on talented receivers.
Fred Jackson (RB, Bills)
While Jackson should continue to get the red zone work, expect Spiller to become the feature back once he is fully healthy.
Julian Edelman (WR, Patriots)
His role will be reduced when Amendola and Gronkowski return to health.
Sam Bradford (QB, Rams), Rashard Mendenhall (RB, Cardinals), Pierre Thomas (RB, Saints), Anquan Boldin (WR, 49ers), T.Y. Hilton (WR, Colts), Dwayne Bowe (WR, Chiefs), Charles Clay (TE, Dolphins).
