Fashion Week wrap-up
The last days of Fall ’10 Fashion Week had it all — from a football star in drag to a nearly nude Pam Anderson.
Only seven months till September when the fashion madness (fadness?) resumes at Lincoln Center!Jessica Biel, Ryan Phillippe and Kellan Lutz checked out a surprise performance by Justin Timberlake at Hudson Terrace at the William Rast after-party on Wednesday. Constantine Maroulis was also on hand with his (allegedly contractual) gal pal, soon-to-be reality star Tinsley Mortimer. In the past, chic young things such as Rachel Bilson sat front row at Brian Reyes, but this year, the celeb cachet was thin. We did spot “90210’s” Jessica Stroup a few seats down from us, social fixture and jewelry designer Zani Gugelmann, as well as hip-hop stylist June Ambrose. Buffalo Bills wide receiver Terrell Owens isn’t afraid to show his feminine side. T.O. walked the A*Muse runway in drag — yes, drag. Owens fit right in, though, at the most over-the-top show of the week. A*Muse is the brainchild of wacky Heatherette designer Richie Rich and his, well, muse Pam Anderson, who closed the show in a microscopic silver swimsuit. The front rows of Thursday’s Ralph Lauren show read like a veritable who’s who of fashion’s top editors and insiders: Vanity Fair’s Graydon Carter, Vogue bigwigs — Anna Wintour, Virginia Smith and Hamish Bowles (who had a second-row seat before moving up ) — Elle’s Joe Zee, Marie Claire’s Nina Garcia and photog Patrick Demarchelier. Ralph was genial, waving and smiling as he took his bow. He also politely picked up a program when one of his guests dropped it. “Ethereal“ was the word at Isaac Mizrahi, with branches overhead, faux snow and a band in lieu of a DJ. Top models walked, such as Abby Lee Kershaw and Karlie Kloss, and some of them even wore — gasp! — flats. Among the famous? Vogue's Grace Coddington, Russell Simmons and Veronica Webb.
