Hope Solo will not be punished for her critical tweets about an NBC announcer, women's soccer coach Pia Sundhage told reporters yesterday.

Solo, the U.S. Olympic team's goalie, slammed TV commentator and former soccer star Brandi Chastain on Twitter Saturday for criticizing a defender after a win over Colombia.

"Its 2 bad we cant have commentators who better represents the team&knows more about the game," Solo tweeted at Chastain. Another tweet read, "Lay off commentating about defending and going until you get more educated."

"I feel bad 4 our fans that have 2 push mute," she wrote later.

Chastain brushed off Solo's criticism Sunday, telling reporters, "I'm here to do my job, which is to be an honest and objective analyst," according to published reports.
