Funeral services set for city firefighter killed in Brooklyn blaze
Funeral services have been set for a city firefighter who was killed while battling a blaze in a Brooklyn warehouse on Monday.
A wake for Lt. Richard Nappi of Farmingdale, Long Island, will be held Thursday and Friday at Moloney Lake Funeral Home in Lake Ronkonkoma from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Lake Ronkonkoma on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
Nappi, a 47-year-old father of two, began to feel dizzy during the three-alarm fire and went into cardiac arrest. He was rushed to Woodhull Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Five other firefighters suffered minor injuries.
