'Glee' star Cory Monteith is out of rehab
“Glee” star Cory Monteith is out of rehab and back with the love of his life Lea Michele.
The couple -- partners both on their FOX show and real life -- were spotted catching a flight out of LAX airport together. Both looked “very happy, smiling the entire time,” a witness told E! News.
Monteith, 30, checked himself into a treatment facility in early April, citing an ongoing “substance addiction.”
"Cory is a beloved member of the Glee family and we fully support his decision to seek treatment," 20th Century Fox TV, which produces "Glee," said of Monteith’s decision to attend rehab. "Everyone at the show wishes him well and looks forward to his return."
Monteith’s struggle with substance abuse has led to one prior stint in rehab; he attended a treatment center for the same addiction when he was 19.
“Glee” co-star Kevin McHale is optimistic for Monteith’s recovery.
“He looks great,” McHale told E! News. He added that he was proud of Monteith for seeking help. “It was the right thing to do."
Monteith was greatful for the support from his costars and fans.
“sending out big love to everyone. thank you for the continued support! It means the world to me! :)” he tweeted Friday.
