  • H&H Bagels to rise again in downtown Manhattan

    H & H Bagels

H&H Bagels, the famously fragrant emporium of carbs and cream cheese that left fans bummed after closing its last location on the West Side in January, will rise again.

A lease was recently signed for a new 1,800-square-foot H&H Bagels at 125 Fulton St., near Nassau St., confirmed James Famularo, managing director for New York Commercial Real Estate Services.

H&H's new owner, Randy Narod, who owns a chain of bagel shops on Long Island, said he would be using the recipes of the fabled H&H -- which was featured in "Seinfeld" -- in the new location and that he planned to build out the new space to 3,000 feet. "We're building it now," said Narod, adding that the store should open in October. More details would be forthcoming next week, he said.
