The natural wonders of Madagascar -- including a pack of lemurs - are now just a short subway ride away at the Bronx Zoo.
We loved it when the animated zoo animals of Central Park escaped to Madagascar back in 2005 (and incidentally, looks like the have a second escape planned this year: Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa) -- and we REALLY loved it when our favorite British nature narrator Sir David Attenborough visited Madagascar's lemurs for the BBC series "The Life of Mammals."
Now we're especially excited that these lemurs have taken up residence in our hometown. The Bronx Zoo reports they are hosting four different type of lemurs. You have all summer to get there, and if you're not yet bit by lemur mania - please see David Attenborough and lemurs in action below:
