Hillary Clinton leads the pack of possible presidential candidates: Poll
Hillary Clinton hasn't decided whether she will run for president, but a Quinnipiac University poll released yesterday shows she would destroy her competition.
The survey said the former secretary of state and New York senator leads the pack of Democratic hopefuls with 61%. Vice President Joe Biden comes next with 11% followed by U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts with 7% and Gov. Andrew Cuomo with 2%.
Clinton also trounces potential GOP challengers in the 2016 race, beating N.J. Gov. Chris Christie 49% to 36%; U.S. Sen. Rand Paul 53% to 36%, and U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz 54% to 31%. The poll surveyed 1,497 registered voters and has a margin of error of +/- 2.5%.
