Then head to Williamsburg this weekend.
Manhattan has the annual Fancy Food Show, so ever the contrarian, Brooklyn has started the UN-Fancy food show. It's in its second year at the East River Bar and will feature a huge range of local-made eats. Here are the ones we've tried and love:
Tortillas from the Hot Bread Kitchen: This group employs immigrant women who bake the traditional breads from their home countries.
Mast Brothers Chocolates: This chocolate is made in Williamsburg, it comes in a really pretty wrapper and it tastes reeeeaaaallllly good. Eat it.
McClure's Pickles: These pickles have bite. They're infused with spices and garlic.
The Details: Sunday, June 29 at the East River Bar, 97 South 6th St. (L train to Bedford); Noon to 6 p.m.; $5 donation suggested
