In the wake of Dick Cheney's criticism of John McCain for picking Sarah Palin as a 2008 running mate, the senator shot back at the former VP's torture policies.

In an ABC News interview aired Sunday, Cheney said Palin was an "attractive" candidate, but didn't have enough experience.

McCain fired off some scathing criticism of his own when the remarks were played back to him during "Fox & Friends" Monday morning.

"I'm always glad to get comments four years later," he quipped. "Look, I respect the vice president. He and I had strong disagreements as to whether we should torture people or not. I don't think we should have."
