Judge calls for psych tests on Brooklyn serial murder suspect
A judge ordered that Brooklyn serial killer suspect Salvatore Perrone undergo a psych evaluation after he ranted during a court hearing Wednesday.
During his indictment hearing, Perrone shouted at the judge after pleading not guilty to murder charges in connection with three homicides that date back to July, the Brooklyn DA's office said.
"Everything has been taken away from me -- my money, my cellphone and any numbers I have," Perrone, 64, said according to CBS 2.
The judge called the defendant's behavior "disruptive, confused or bizarre" and ordered psychological tests to determine if he is mentally fit, the DA's office said.
Perrone will return to court in February, the spokesman said.
