Lady Gaga named Entertainer of the Year by Associated Press
With a new hit album, Grammy wins, high-profile duets and a popular tour, Lady Gaga's star kept rising in 2011.
Now the "Fame Monster's" terrific year has been recognized by the Associated Press, which has named the 25-year-old New York native its entertainer of the year.
"I am humbled and honored," Gaga said in a statement, the AP reported. Her victory came from 135 ballots submitted by AP members. Here are some of the runners-up.
