Lady Gaga thanks Scott Stringer for support

The at-odds threesome that is Lady Gaga and two borough presidents heated up Thursday when Gaga thanked Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer on Twitter.
Staten Island Borough President James Molinaro called the singer a "slut" earlier this week. Citing her global positive influence, Stringer defended the native New Yorker, whose most recent personal cause is positive body image for young girls. Stringer, who's friends with Gaga's family, was rewarded with this sweet tweet from the Lady G:
"To @scottmstringer of Manhattan, thanku for your support of my activism as a new yorker. You show political integrity + a modern vernacular."
