    Macy's turned 150 Tuesday, and in the evening, the Empire State Building blazed in red until midnight to mark the occasion. Read about Macy's history here. And a fun fact: The Macy's star was inspired by a tattoo on R.H. Macy's arm. The tattoo was a tribute to "the star that guided him when lost at sea." Read more Macy's history here.
