The man suspected of fatally stabbing a Staten Island man at his engagement party will be charged with murder at his arraignment Friday, according to reports.

Redinel Dervishaj, 35, allegedly plunged a butcher knife into the chest of Antonio Lacertosa, 27, after partygoers threw him to the ground at the Espana Restaurant and Lounge on Annadale Rd.

He was arrested Tuesday in his aunt's house in Palos Hills, Ill., a suburb outside Chicago.

"Over the course of the following days, we will present all the relevant evidence and information of this case to a grand jury, which will ultimately decide whether that evidence is sufficient to indict the defendant on that charge or any others we may file," a spokesman for the Staten Island District Attorney told The New York Post.

Lacertosa's funeral was Thursday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Staten
    Island.
