Mark, Will to put up dukes?
How’s this for a match-up: Mark Wahlberg and Will Smith will be offered a cool $1 million each to fight in a celeb boxing match on Feb. 26 in Las Vegas, RadarOnline.com reported.
Damon Feldman, CEO of Hollywood Boxing Federation plans to put the offer out to the two actors.
“This will be a great opportunity for both stars to fight in the Superbowl of Hollywood boxing and to donate millions to their favorite charities,” he told the site.
Both guys know a thing or two about the sport — Smith was Oscar-nominated for portraying Muhammad Ali and Wahlberg is currently playing Mickey Ward in “The Fighter.”
Feldman said the concept is for Smith and Wahlberg to fight three, one minute rounds.
That’s $1 million dollars each for three minutes of work, in case you needed any clarification.
“We don't think these two are going to rip each others heads off,” Damon said. “We’re just hoping they get into the ring and have a little fun duking it out.”
Best of luck getting the A-listers to say yes, considering past “celebrities” who have fought in the Hollywood Boxing Federation include Jose Canseco, Michael Lohan and Danny Bonaduce.
