Meryl Streep and Kevin Kline will star in a single-night performance of "Romeo and Juliet" in Central Park this summer, reuniting the "Sophie's Choice" stars.
Streep, 62, and Kline, 64, will play the teenaged star-crossed lovers in a one-off staged reading at the park's Delacorte Theatre June 18, the Public Theater announced yesterday.
The performance honors the 50th anniversary of Shakespeare in the Park, which both Streep and Kline have acted in.
That same night, Al Pacino will be honored for his work with Public Theater, which puts on the theater series.
Tickets for the event start at $1,500.
