Mother-in-law hospital scare, new alleged porn fling are latest in Tiger Woods saga
The mother-in-law of affair-plagued Tiger Woods returned to his Florida mansion Tuesday after a medical scare landed her in the hospital for most of the day.
“Hurry up,” an unidentified woman told a 911 operator as a child is heard crying in the background. “She collapsed in the bathroom. What do I do?" A few seconds later the woman said her mother didn’t appear to be seriously hurt from her fall.
Whisked away in an ambulance, Barbro Holmberg, the 57-year-old mother of Woods’ estranged wife, Elin Nordegren, was hospitalized for 11 hours before being released in good condition, officials said. Details of her illness were not immediately divulged.
Holmberg, a Swedish politician, was hospitalized nearly two weeks after Tiger himself sought medical care for injuries he suffered in a car crash. That night, Woods and his wife reportedly were battling at home about an affair he was having. Since then a slew of woman have come forward claiming to have bedded the 33-year-old father of two during his five-year marriage.
Tuesday, another porn star joined the golf legend’s roster of alleged lovers. Veronica Siwik-Daniels, known professionally as Joslyn James, cited Tiger’s “virulent sexual appetite” and claimed he paid for sex, Deadspin.com reported.
Also Tuesday, conservative shock jock Rush Limbaugh linked Woods to President Barack Obama on his radio show, saying “the black frame of mind is terrible.”
And Gatorade said it’s discontinuing Woods’ drink, Tiger Focus, noting that the decision was made months ago.
Woods’ representatives did not return calls for comment.
